Resistance against the Other is as old as humanity, <br />and if one looks at it in the context of demography and economic survival, there is more justification for it now than a few centuries or decades ago. The panic about overpopulation that gripped the West in the early Nineteensixties had no consequences at all, and nowadays demography is almost a taboo subject.
